Our New House

This is a picture of the house that we are buying! It is a 4 bedroom 1 bath in South Orem. It has brand new carpet, kitchen appliances, and has just been completely repainted. We are so excited to be getting into our own place. If everything goes well we will be moving in September 1. :)

DIGGIN IN THE DIRT

The other day I went to visit my sister and nephews. They just built a new house and the lot next door to them is still empty so the boys were having some fun digging in the dirt. They had a lot of fun.

--Date Night--

Yesterday Luke and I were able to spend the entire day together. It was so much fun to be able to actually see each other. We started out the day babysitting 2 of my cute nephews Trevor and Owen...We had so much fun with them, they're both so funny. After that Luke took a little nap while I got ready. Then we went to the mall and did some shopping for me and Luke was feeling a little left out so we went to the Sportsman's Warehouse and got him a hiking backpack. After all of our wandering around we decided that we were both hungry and even though it was only 4 we went to Brick Oven. It was so yummy! We had leftovers that didn't make it through the night. At 8:30 Luke had a lecture for his Astrology class which spouses were invited to. It was a star show in the dome and it was so much fun...I was actually able to see the Big Dipper, Little Dipper, and Orion's Belt which I've never been able to see before which was very exciting for me! It was around 10 by the time we got home and Luke still had some studying to do so we popped some popcorn and watched The Italian Job...I don't know how much studying he actually got done though. It was a fun day from beginning to end and I wish it was something that we got to do more often.

New Couches!

We got new couches!!! We had a really comfy sectional with a pull out bed but then our apartment got mice and I couldn't keep the couch even though the mattress was the only thing they got to. I just couldn't sit on it knowing that the mice might have been on the couch. So the day after Thanksgiving we went to The Great Room in Orem and bought a new couch and loveseat. We've had them for a week now and we love them. There aren't any more mice and I've scrubbed every inch of the apartment.

About my Hubby

1-What is his name: Luke Tuipelehake Eddleman...it's a mouthful
2- Where did you meet? Coach Tanners health class in 10th grade
3- How long did you date before you were married? On and off all through high school and were married the August after graduation...so along time
4- How long have you been married for? In February it'll be 1 1/2 years!!!!
5- Who said I love you first? Luke
6- When and where was your first kiss? Haha in the weight room at THS during football camp so the summer of 2005
7- Who kissed who first? Luke kissed me
8- Who proposed? There wasn't really a proposal it just was implied but he did ask me to marry him the night before our wedding.
10-Do you have kids? How many? None yet. :( But we've compromised and said that we'll start trying in a year and a half.
11- What does he do that surprises you? On his days off he'll surprise me with a clean apartment when I get home from work. He's so good to me!
12- What's your favorite feature about him? His smile. It's so cute!
13- What's your favorite quality about him? His work ethic! He never misses a day of work even if he's really sick.
14- Does he have a nickname for you? Babe, Princess
15- What's his favorite color? Red and Blue
16- What's his favorite food? Everything, but probably my moms chicken and rice.
17-What is his favorite sport? Football of course!
18- What's a hidden talent that he has? He's amazing with children! I can't wait to see him with our kids. He'll be such a good daddy!!!

20- What do you admire most about him? Everything! He is so amazing at everything. I'm so lucky to have him!!!
21-What's his favorite past time? Playing video games, watching movies, watching paintball movies on YOUTUBE
22- Who eats more? HIM!!!! He's Polynesian so he can eat a ton!
23- Who is taller? Luke but only by 2 inches.
24- Who sings better? Me. I always tease him about being tone deaf but I love it when he sings :)
25- Who is smarter? He's more book smart but he's common sence stupid haha!
26- Who does the laundry? Me I don't trust him with my clothes. And the laundry is done daily around here
27- Who pays the bills? Me. Neither of us are good with money but I'm better so I have to buckle down and handle the money
28- Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Laying down I'm on the right side but if you're looking at the bed Luke is on the right side
29- Who mows the lawn? We don't have a lawn but when we do it'll be Luke cuz I don't know how. My dad was overly protective and didn't want me to chop off my toes.
30- Who cooks dinner? We're never home at the same time so Luke usually heats up a burrito in the microwave and I have cereal. When we are home at the same time we go out to dinner.
31- Who drives? Me. Luke is a scary driver...he's working on it.
32- Who is more stubborn? Me
33- Who has more friends? Luke. He's really friendly
34- Who has more siblings? ME
35- Who controls the T.V. remote? Me but I always let him choose the movies and for the most part we like the same tv shows
36- Whose temper is worse? Me I can be so mean to him and he just takes it. I'm sorry babe :)
37- Who does the dishes? I wish I could say the dishwasher cuz then there wouldn't be a pile of dirty dishes in our sink. This is the one thing I hate to do and I always find a way to avoid it. So I'll usually make Luke do them...he has tomorrow off so maybe they'll get done.
38- Whose parents do you see more often? Mine. We go to my parents house every Sunday for family dinner and our one home cooked meal of the week. :) His parents always find a reason to tell us we can't come over...like they're sick or the house is dirty and they don't want us to visit in a dirty house. Whatever!
